Five tracks spread across 20-minutes, Rand Weiss offers the snap, crackle, and pop for glitched out, extraterrestrial electronics. The minuscule scratches tucked between each beat are elevated by distorted breaks, off-kilter rhythms, and a blips’n bleeps manifest that doesn’t let up. Brisk melodies try to weave their way in, only to be sideswiped by fractured percussive jolts. The subtle, far away noises that Weiss enables are fine tuned micro-bubbles of arcane Autechrean soil crafted via a mechanical construct.
