An emotional and atmospheric labyrinth
Tetragram is a captivating experience through perception, nature, and the passage of time, blending subtle noise and intricate instrumental textures into a soundscape unlike any other. These expansive, surreal compositions create an emotional and atmospheric labyrinth that envelops the listener. Whispers of intricate drones and microscopic tones drift in and out, while ethereal voices emerge and dissolve like fleeting dreams.
Tracks like “Slumber” transport us through interstellar realms, with resonating downtempo and dissolving drums anchoring us to the present as they stretch toward the infinite. “Keif,” and the title track, weave brittle field recordings with distant, otherworldly noises, crafting a sonic bridge from across galaxies. At the heart of the album—and its closing—”Polynya” is a tidal wave of ominous yet mesmerizing darkness, carrying a cryptic message that remains just out of reach. Tetragram‘s hypnotic, dense soundtracks illustrate a bewildering tapestry that pulls the listener deeper into its strange, propelling overflow.
