Five tracks spanning approximately 20-minutes, ΠΕΡΑ ΣΤΑ ΟΡΗ (aka PERA STA ORI) creates nostalgic electro/jungle and low end rumblings on святой ISO, breaks and bass explored from edge to edge—just have a listen to his excellent Yellow Machines’ 2019 Iskios EP to whet your palette. Opener “XERTZ” is a prime example of contagious analog machine funk with a polished sheen, its old-school drum’n bass percussion blends with rippling acid lines. “WHTAKAMSHA” and “EPIDE?M?A” create a similar buzz—the 90s-era Altern8 parallel vibration is unrelenting as both tracks break through dusty bass bins with fury.
