Brisbane drum and bass legend Operon makes his debut on left field Aussie label Enig’matik in the form of this atmospherically intricate piece of free DnB wizardry. Something about the patchwork, cut and chop nature of this track recalls 90’s era V Recordings. The sonic palette has been vastly expanded; from a few soul samples and a diced Amen break to the Reaktor fueled psychedelic experiments in liquid sound design that are a staple of the Enig’matik sound—in other words, good stuff.
