[Release page] Nommo Ogo has had a relatively extensive history of productions going back to 1996 and releasing content since 2000. Emerging from the Alaskan landscape as a band that has been tagged as “psychedelic / noise,” they’ve continued to push invisible boundaries of low-rumbling frequencies and have gained quite a reputation for their sonic rites outdoor performances. These quasi-ritualistic experiences have been hailed as tribal and emmersive sound-escapes for mind and body. Fast forward to present day, and you’ll see the Nommo Ogo name-tag splattered throughout Record Label Records‘ operations as well as Katabatik‘s esoteric electronic music conglomerate—all based in Oakland, California.

Extending the classic warmth of buzzing synthesizers, analog machinery and organic electronics, Nommo Ogo continue to emanate a thorough voyage of underground tectonic shifting.
