Mokhov offers downtempo, sun-soaked electronic music which is drenched in melodic, instrumental and freeform production hues on Future Hope. Taking funk and intersecting its grip with laid back rhythms, these 10-tracks form a smoothed sonic package. Tucked away in nostalgic layers, dreamlike panoramic views and emotive strands of brilliance, Future Hope delivers old-school charm, catchy basslines, a trip-hop entanglement and timeless soundscapes. Between the upbeat grooves yet tranquilized chill is a pleasant sojourn which acts as a great accompaniment to road trips up the coastline.
