Michael Brückner & Guests :: Eleventh Sun – reVisited (Self Released)

Fans of chilling electronic music, soothing soundscapes from past to present will be easily seduced by the collection gathered in this special edition.

Discreet flowing galactic music

Prolific sound artist and modern day electronic wizard Michael Brückner is back in the ambient arena with a substantial collaborative album that features highly acclaimed and pioneering figures of space synthesized music (Robert Rich, Mathias Grassow et al.) Due to the ambition and visions brought up to the fore, it’s no doubt that this album will be something special for avid followers of Berlin school of Kosmische music and everything that came afterwards—sacred space music, textural-aural new-age music, and sentient soundscapes with a spiritual dimension in general.

Eleventh Sun was originally published in 2012 on SynGate’s Luna sub-label. To celebrate the 10 years anniversary of this album, the present edition offers revisited versions of original pieces with additional bonus tracks. The musical signature is centered on a vast arsenal of electronic devices and machinery that gives the ensemble particular, recognizable tones and emotional colors—oscillating between airy shifting textures, and dense organic sound worlds with hints of ethno-ritualistic, mysterious rhythms, and sparse, accessible then enveloping melodies to the forefront. Discreet flowing galactic music alternates with electronic flamboyance around a broader array of inventiveness. Fans of chilling electronic music, soothing soundscapes from past to present will be easily seduced by the collection gathered in this special edition.
