Hailing from Sweden, LFL has banged out this spectacular debut album full of post apocalyptic ballads and electronic beats.

An amazing debut full of post apocalyptic ballads and electronic beats

What do you get when you put Portishead, Sade and Björk in a blender? You get Lust For Life. This album is amazing from start to finish. The opening track “It Stops With Me” definitely elicits Portishead and Björk vibes. Hailing from Sweden, LFL has banged out this spectacular debut album full of post apocalyptic ballads and electronic beats. “We Are Proof” is one of my many favs on the album. “Just Dreams'” opening lyric is simply amazing—”You look enough to waste some time on…” a perfect love errr Lust song about maybe falling in love with the wrong person. “Systemic Love” is a stand out with its opening synth intro and baseline a definite groove track. “Boss” is a defiantly harder than the rest of the songs and likely to become an anthem for many. The last track “The End,” is an instrumental one and a perfect way to end a spectacular album. Vertisol has been in rotation in my car for the past month and I cant wait until the pandemic ends so I can see them on tour!

Vertisol is available on LFLR. [Bandcamp]
