Lusine ICL :: Travel Sickness EP (Ant-Zen)

Despite nearly 20 years since its release, nothing has dimmed or faded the impact of these tracks nor their sounds and scenarios.

Lush soundscapes to analog downtempo excursions

Ant-Zen has re-released Lusine ICL’s 2003 Travel Sickness as a digital album. Originally released in 2006 by Hymen Records on physical 3“ CD format as part of the Travel Sickness compilation boxset, this is now available as a digital release. The tracks run the gamut from lush soundscapes to analog downtempo excursions that conjure up images of peaceful sunlit lands of fields and forests. Despite nearly 20 years since its release, nothing has dimmed or faded the impact of these tracks nor their sounds and scenarios. “Act1” is the soundtrack to a quiet morning while “Act2” evolves from this into a solid and simple groove like a walk through the woods. “Act3” continues this journey with a softer beat and gentle synth tones. “Abaft” has sharper and more distinct beats and tones to round out this ep of calming, centering and enthralling music.
