A blistering modular couplet
After nine and a half minutes, Ignatius (also known as Steve Westbrook from Buried In Time) crafts a blistering modular couplet return with plenty of freedom to unfold as we dive in. On this strangely constructed piece, “Weekend Bugs” morphs and reshapes itself as faint melodic threads float in the background. Conversely, “Neutral Drop” is much more rhythmic, with its electro blips and bits thumping from the very beginning as dislocated sound impulses meander and glitch. These misplaced hard drive discoveries are astounding; both within a short period of time. More please.
Weekend Bugs Neutral Drop is available on Buried In Time. [Bandcamp]
