A radiant constellation of sparks, pulses, and shifting tempos, where fractured synth strands ripple with melodic arcs and luminous curvature.

Something exquisitely fragile radiates from Curves and Calculus—delicate sonic fissures part to unveil shimmering layers of melody and rhythmic design. Often ephemeral yet completely absorbing, this body of work—seeded in 2018—meandered through divergent sonic pathways before settling into a mosaic of intricate sound. What emerges is a radiant constellation of sparks, pulses, and shifting tempos, where fractured synth strands ripple with melodic arcs and luminous curvature.

Though ambient textures illuminate all around, it’s the brittle elegance and intuitive flow that keep everything aloft, gliding through realms of finely sculpted electronic abstraction. “Bourbaki” captures this spirit—its tender rhythmic technoid threads colliding with expansive waves, hinting at future-forward sound design. Shadowy echoes unravel in “Orbitdgm,” while “Polynomial Portals” leans into retro-toned spaces, grounding the release in a sense of time bent through harmonic lenses. The electro-contoured tones of “Clouds Are Not Spheres” also feel sleek and otherworldly, instantly capturing our attention.

Yet it’s in those fleeting emotional surges where Fragile X reaches luminous clarity. “The Nature of Motion” (with vocals courtesy of Sulci) and closing piece “Integers” move like equations made audible—precise, mysterious, yet profoundly moving. “Infinite Symmetry,” as the opener, offers a revelation: life in bloom, cascading in color through sound. A standout release for 2025—bright, introspective, and not to be overlooked.
