Four tracks of utter experimental bliss
dgoHn (John Cunnane) returns on Love Love for a collaborative four track EP with Danish friend Badun (Oliver Duckert). The result yields four tracks of utter experimental bliss. From the drum funk’n bass of dgoHn to Badun’s meandering abstract jazz infiltration, Talk To The Planets is a seriously splendid collection that doesn’t slow down. “Ghot” finds its way through ragged riffs and bleeps as “Not Just A Best” cuts through splattered electrical chaos and synth flourishes around shuffled percussion.. “Untitled (everything is same size)” continues in a braindance tizzy with relaxed lounge echoes as closure “VHS Copy 1979” eerily reflects on brooding melodic strands whilst the core drum’n bass layers gradually build and shape the overall structure. A fine collaboration between two skilled sonic craftsmen and an extended player that could infinitely loop without wear.
