A tranquil panoramic scene
Daniel Vickers, an Argentinean living in the USA, and Sergio Mariani_MR, a UK native currently living in Seoul, South Korea, have collaborated on a four-piece suite for the venerable Audiobulb label. We are instantly taken to a tranquil panoramic scene, from the title track’s soft angular guitar strings and ambient threads to “Quiet Till Noon’s” lullaby soundtrack bubbles. Short tracks all around, but making the most of every moment: “In the Cool of the Evening” is a somber return with guitar plucks creating an ethereal background that seems as light as air, and “At Home By Night” is the closing track, which gradually transitions into brittle field recordings and mesmerizing synths.
