D-Fried :: Sensor Feedback Control Paradigm (People Can Listen)

Filled to the brim with effervescent ambient trails, SFCP aligns itself with flickering IDM pulsars of the late 90s and early 00s.

An influx of exquisitely tuned electronics

A traverse through wide open ambient fields, emotively charged particles and an array of found sounds that tickle the heartstrings, here we find D-Fried’s Sensor Feedback Control Paradigm flowing through atmospheric layers. Calling to mind earlier Toytronic-era ambient melodics like Abfahrt Hinwil, Loess, and Miles Tilmann, D-Fried delivers a nostalgic departure to another place, a shift into another dimension. Brittle and delicately executed, there are bursting bubbles of IDM’s past inherently on display. Skittering by with rhythmic color, the album is distinctly crisp to the touch, textured with interlocking layers, and fluttering beatwork. D-Fried captures an assortment of moods, often swaying back and forth, gently fading into and out of our field of vision. It’s refreshing to hear such an influx of exquisitely tuned electronics, not afraid to venture through emotional channels and discovering bright spots along the way. Filled to the brim with effervescent ambient trails, SFCP aligns itself with flickering IDM pulsars of the late 90s and early 00s.
