Carpenteresque soundwaves ripple throughout, but these pieces are far from pastiche. Drawing from a reference field that stretches from proto pre-goth icons on 4AD to the formative experimentation of early Warp and related electronic outliers, Cephlon grounds nostalgia in something tectonic and deliberate.

Each track feels carved rather than composed, hewn from geological archetypes that suggest near and far orbits, inner space as much as outer. The EP unfolds as a suite of shifting environments: four tracks that collectively conjure closer to eight atmospheres, pivoting direction at precisely judged musical coordinates.
