Produced by Anders Ilar in 2015 while in Estonia, Tallinn Acid Tracks is out now via Acid Lathe—an experimental sub-label of Yard Rec—on a limited edition 4-track clear square 8” vinyl made individually on a lathe cutting machine. It consists of two tracks, each cut on stereo and mono, that focus on acid as the principle for the dance floor psychedelic experience many clubbers aspire for.

The opener, “Tallinn Acid 1 (Stereo Mix),” my personal favorite, has the power to make one transcend as the acid loop progresses in the midst of glitchy ambient textures, dub echoes, and a classy minimal techno beat. Perfect fit for an introspective dive moment in a DJ set. On the other hand, “Tallinn Acid 3 (Stereo Mix)” delivers straight forward slapping acid techno with a dirty bassline that expresses a raw energy much forgotten in today‘s general electronic music outputs. So the release is a great choice for die-hard analog DJs, music collectors, and acid lovers.
