For MiniDisc Day 2021, This year, on June 5th, experimental electronica producer Vcam will be releasing his third album, Cycle, on limited MiniDisc via n5MD. The album is the follow-up to last year’s MiniDisc only album Arconide. Cycle exchanges Arconide‘s melodicism for a more varied textural aural experience akin to the modern cerebral works of Booth and Brown. Cycle‘s tracks are bound by elastic beats and contorted hardware synth work that is rewarding, revealing new facets with each listen.
