A Remix LP that was never meant to be
Never intended as a remix LP, one of the producers of the project, rchecka, suggested a remix LP after he sent a random remix of the songs, “Beyond The Walls” and “Wolf.” After asking around, one thing led to another, and here we are—complete with Limited Edition vinyl.

Needful Things is Mr. Echoes’ debut solo electronica album that tells the story of humanity’s demise caused by the search for the nonexistent through dream-like strings accompanied by deep bass lines and complex drum patterns. Exploring how easily we can lose ourselves in delusion, whether it’s through social media, toxic relationships or finding we are chasing a mirage.
A native of the Windy City, Mr. Echoes has weathered the many shifts in the electronica music scene with a distinctive and timeless sound. The Chicago native makes up half of a production duo, The Opus.
Mr. Echoes was a producer for the group, Rubberoom, which resulted in the EP, Gothic Architecture and full-length album Architechnology, among other projects. Segments of Architechnology were displayed on MTV’s Road Rules as well as the X Games—receiving national recognition, and ultimately became the product of a global record deal.
Mr. Echoes has collaborated with a number of artists including Pigeon John, I Self Devine of the Micronots, Aesop Rock, Murs, Slug of Atmosphere, Meat Beat Manifesto, and DJ Krush.
