Concept :: Les Siestes Électroniques is a free festival dedicated to adventurous music. It takes place in Toulouse, France in July. Most of the concerts are held in a charming park, a perfect place to hear the best of the calm side to electronic music. The cutting-edge programming is eclectic and holds as a goal to inspire the interest of people familiar with electronic music and also the curious public. This is a rare endeavor! We intend to give a voice to one of the major field in digital creation by inviting major labels from Europe, America and Japan.
Harmonizing the summer days of Toulouse for a few years now, the concerts are held in the afternoon in the gardens of contemporary art museum in the historical center of the city. The public, mostly young and often accompanied by their children, reclines on the grassy hills or in the esplanade. From there, the listeners are taken by the beautiful view of the Garonne river. Here there is no need to strain your ears nor to intently follow the moves of the musicians. Les Siestes Elecroniques is a great opportunity for musical connoisseurs to relax and to take in the pleasure of quality performances. The afternoons are punctuated by more thematic concerts, exhibition and the nights are spiced with parties and special performances.
