(10.08.06) Blip Drums’ goal is simple, supply musicians with an ever expanding supply of unique electronic based drum samples and loops at a great price. Samples are sold in sets of ten for just $2.49 per set. Loops are 100% ACIDized, categorized by BPM, and sold in sets of 10 for only $4.49. Essentially, we hope that musicians will find Blipdrums to be a creative resource for adding electronic percussion sounds to their libraries as they need them. Who’s behind Blipdrums?
Blipdrums was created by Bay Area electronic musician Saul Stokes. Stokes has a 15 year history of music making and sound design. He creates percussion samples using a mixture of hand made modular analog synthesizers combined with hardware and software synthesizers and effects. Celebrated electronic musicians James Johnson and Vir Unis, both veteran loop library & sound developers for Sony (Sonic Foundry), head up Blip Drums’ loop department.
