On the 7th of August Rail Cables are releasing a cassette featuring new music from long serving Warp Records experimentalist Mira Calix, Newcastle Drums and electronics newcomers Ten Sticks, Nitin Sawhney collaborator Jason Singh and David Coccagna himself under his Chaperone guise (click here for a teaser). The Rail Cables Series involves asking musicians to create music inspired by train travel which they release on vinyl, cassette and digitally. So far they have had music from Benoit Pioulard, This Is The Kit, Scanner, Symbol, Dead Voices On Air, Adam Betts (Three Trapped Tigers), Negra Branca and Dru$s (Both from the band Gnod) worriedaboutsatan, Ran Slavin and a host of other great musicians.
