Organisation Toth :: The Sword of Creation (Rage in Eden)

The conceptual background appears to be implicitly linked to Nietzsche / Spengler’s modern decadence, the sovereign virtues of the ancient world, found of the occultism and European mythologies.

Among the representative musical entities of the post-industrial / martial music league (A challenge of Honour, Arditi…) Organisation Toth is back after a short hiatus from the scene. After the rebellious and merciless noisy electronic manifest of the first opus, the project recorded its first album for Rage in Eden entitled Presents Gloria Victis! (2007). Highly acclaimed from fans of the genre, this album presents a solid and vertiginous a post-apocalyptic soundtrack with a vast assemblage of sampled textures, neoclassical tendencies and heavily treated electronic sequences. The new album The Sword of Creation (2013) is also signed by the polish label and carries on the musical schemas ever expressed in the previous one. The conceptual background appears to be implicitly linked to Nietzsche / Spengler’s modern decadence, the sovereign virtues of the ancient world, found of the occultism and European mythologies.

The musical identity seems to be more inclined to infused electronic treatments with an impressive collection of electro-pulsating synth waves which gives to the object an almost goth-BEM inflection (“WerWolf,” “Primordial cult”). Minimal electronic tendencies can also be detected due to the presence of ritually hypnotic short-repetitive patterns, harsh sounds and dark electro moves are also emphasized, giving to the ensemble a particular sound aesthetism. “Now it is Northern Ice…” is probably the most eloquent and immersive epic soundscape of the album with a beautiful cinematic feel and strangely moving textured electronics. If you are into the most obsessive-post nuclear tendencies of electronic industrial hymns by Throbbing Gristle, Suicide Commando, Turbund sturmwerk (…) no doubt that this album is for you.

The Sword of Creation is available on Rage in Eden.
