While the title track delves into reflective slow-motion lullaby electronica with an acidic heartbeat, “Single Source of Truth” is a glittering composition full of melodic techno and a nostalgic blend of sandblasted synth’n braindance elements. With the energetic breaks and funk of “Herb (Fre 01:11 Edit 3)” and the hazy techno flutter of “Stoff (Die 02:13 Edit 08B),” it is easy to conclude that quadratschulz’s music is lively and upbeat but still alien enough to keep us totally engaged.
