Lefrenk is the epitome of a lofty goal: to connect in the realms of creativity and innovation. His vast catalog of recorded music is a body of work in which electronic music has been explored from every conceivable perspective. His pioneering expertise with electronic music forged from house culture, techno, and a highly personal approach to organic sounds. Lefrenk presents a new release with an outstanding roster of electronic music creators on his EP Plastic.

Pablo Funk has returned with a new track that’s just as epic as his previous works. Titled “Plastic (Pablo Funk Remix),” this remix is top-notch with enough variations to keep you locked in. The god of electro delivers the goods in his own unique style, with a relentless groove, and hits the sweet spot of electro in an immaculate style. The sound is so immersive and heavy—it’s like you’re being hit by waves of bass that never stop coming.

“Insen (Francois Dillinger Remix)” by Detroit-based electro mastermind Francois Dillinger created an incredible track that will captivate you with its steady beats and atmospheric electro. The sound is a chilled-out vibe, yet still vibrant enough to captivate listeners with its hypnotic nature. There are then layers added on top to create depth and complexity in the soundscape. You will hear steady beats layered behind an atmospheric style of electro. The track has a lot of energy and feels upbeat while still maintaining a mellow vibe.

U.K. based electronica/techno pioneer; Kim Cosmik adds some flavor to the track “Insen (Kim Cosmik Remix)” as she delivers a sound with a razor-sharp feel that is driven by a sub bassline. Her version of “Insen” has nonstop, frenetic energy from start to finish. Her sound is likened to the works of Ariadne’s Labyrinth, which I find to be an aural listening pleasure. Kim Cosmik never disappoints.

Adrien d’Elzius has a knack for sounds that are vibrant, beat infused and experimental. This time, he takes it further to a cohesive blend of funk stabs at a pace driven by a power bassline. The track “Phrygian (Adrien d’Elzius remix)” stays true to the bass heads with never a dull moment. I am finding myself nodding to the beat of this thunderous groove. Discovering the tracks he unveils from his music catalog is always an exciting experience.
