Slow motion synthesizers slither through techno extracts on Kaeba’s robust EP titled Extended.

A welcomed four-pack set on stun mode

Slow motion synthesizers slither through techno extracts on Kaeba’s robust and hypnotic Extended EP. Four tracks that are rough extensions of each other are explosive, punchy, and you guessed it, extended. Kaeba (aka Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri—one-half of the dynamic Plaster duo, check out Blends from earlier this year on Eklero) kicks off with “Extended_#01” that flickers about with disjointed glitch notes, warehouse echoes, and grit you can practically taste. “_02” provides molten lava flows and fidgety acid spheres as “_03” meanders through darker, cavernous voids with its minimal techno precision—the likes of classic Monolake productions with a skewed and noisier trajectory. “_04” provides elusive distress signals bouncing off the floors of abandoned industrial factories, its old-school flare and dark shadows cast as far as the eye can see. With Textvra being a new home for all soundscapes tethered around techno and electro fractures, Extended is a welcomed four-pack set on stun mode. Expect additional audio works from artists like Plaster, Clouds After Rain and other new projects in the pipeline.

Extended is available on Textvra. [Bandcamp]
