Canadian Suction Records have collected all their 12″ output from 1997 and 1999 on two separate CD-collections, including a few bonus tracks and new remixes. The six remixes are also collected on a separate 12″. It’s fairly nice melodic electronic listening music, you can hear inspirational traces from artists like Orbital, Jean-Michel Jarre and those on the Warp AI compilations. But many tracks use distorted beats (as in “let’s crank up the volume too loud”-distorted) with too little imagination, which gets tedious after a while. The collections aren’t bad, but there is much similar music that is better.
