Steffen Schröder (aka Huron) is a musician based out of Berlin, Germany. Having started DJ’ing in 1990, his first releases came out on Crazy Language, a label spawned with a good friend that was inspired to ignite experimental electronics / IDM and electronica artists. Several remixes have ensued over the years for the likes of DNN, Zenodub, Atmogat, Datacrashrobot and various tracks have appeared on compilations for Miga, Plataformap-LTW and Solanic. Huron has kept a relatively low-profile—even with the myriad of activity—as he continues to carve unique electronic manifests year after year filled with futuristic audio sculptures. In progress is forthcoming music with Dirk Geiger’s Raumklang Music Label, CRL Studios and Wounds of The Earth, however, in the meantime he enjoys compiling mixes featuring artists he enjoys most. Displaying them for the world to absorb, each piece is delivered with carefully balanced segues and detailed exists.
