As 2026 begins, we return to our now six-year ritual at Igloo—bending time slightly to celebrate the finest albums of the past year, from 2025 standouts on labels like Warp Records and Clone to reissues and timeless cuts by Aphex Twin and The Sabres of Paradise, all fueling our tradition with renewed magic and momentum.

As the Spring draws in, the music keeps flowing here at WE FORFEIT. For this month, we have a label we love. We have Gated Recordings. Founded in 2019 by DJ Node and Jadey Smith, Gated has become an imprint of serious intent in the world of electronic music.
A few weeks back, we were lucky enough to share the booth with the always excellent Neud Photo. Robbie hopped on the train and made it by the skin of his teeth to Luv Bar where the pair served some a cocktail of electro, new beat and even some Italo.
The holiday season is upon us. The cold has arrived on Madrid’s city streets and to combat it WE FORFEIT have gathered together two hours of sizzling electronics to warm the cockles.
Through our shows, interviews and mixes, we’ve tried to present electronics with a difference, electronics that make a difference. To the snowy peaks of Canada with Solvent, to the dusty plains of Almería with Mynationshit, our objective is giving a greater audience to what is already great. This month is no exception.
Our celebration, a devil-may-care romp in the aural delights of the machines, opens with some recent beauts from Gated before dipping into acid, breakbeat, electro and techno with records from Amenthia, Betonkust, Gated Recordings, Klasse Wrecks and heaps more.
2024 is well underway. Nevertheless, We Forfeit returns to one of their many, many traditions; their favorite records of 2023!
