Experimental Electronic Music
A few weeks back, we were lucky enough to share the booth with the always excellent Neud Photo. Robbie hopped on the train and made it by the skin of his teeth to Luv Bar where the pair served some a cocktail of electro, new beat and even some Italo.
13 is a fun experience. There’s a lot of danceable moments—but also a lot of more intricate explorations of techno, industrial, and electro with only six tracks to offer. The record manages to find a great balance between these genres, leaving you with some really memorable and catchy tunes, while also punching hard when it wants to.
The compilation has a clean, precise, and minimalist aesthetic that you would quite rightly associate with many of the better known IDM labels of the late 90s and early 2000s…
