Drama beams utter clarity and childlike wonder—that notes can float so round and shiny! This music is about flourishing, soaking in the sunshine, fresh as a daisy, gathering ye rosebuds. Except perhaps the mid-album nap “Rest,” which is tad saccharine.
Akira Kosemura’s Schole label specializes in the lyrical and mellifluous, and the sanguine demeanor of [.que] makes you feel better about yourself and everybody in the neighbourhood.
