The gentle melting sounds of the title track open. A streamlined piece of Sci-Fi Electro is the product. Colder bars of light are paralleled by crisp snares and a northern wind. “Silver Hours” allows warmer notes to enter. Claps collide as Nightingale folds involving chords into a stream of melody. With the break, Nightingale elevates the track into something more. Lonesome lush keys mingle with complimenting vocodors for an amazing piece of electronics. A track I plan to come back to for some time to come. The finale is the lightest of the trio. Bright chords are interwoven with staggering harmonies for an excellent close.
Every time I hear new material from Neud Photo my respect for this New Yorker grows. His ability to construct fragile melodies, his appreciation of both the simple and the complex and his ear for clever floor compositions consistently impress and inspire. Neud Photo is an artist of undeniable talent, a fact he reaffirms with each release. OmnicroM is further proof of this young producer’s skills and potential.
