An irresistible east meets west affair. Immaculately produced and expertly executed with the natural expressivity and confidence you would expect to feel from such experienced and versatile musicians.
Guitarist, experimental musician-producer and sound designer Eraldo Bernocchi, and slide guitar master Prakash Sontakke are both in that creative point where they have enough experience and skills to make their sonic outputs sound exactly as they want. As a result, Invisible Strings, their sonic love child, is an impressively precise, fluid and cohesive piece of music. Fragments of electronica, post-rock, shoegaze and ambient pulse with a delicate dub posture and blend smoothly and gracefully with traditional Indian influences.
With many years of experience and numerous solo and collaborative projects behind them plus an undeniable innate talent, the pair has the ability to make things sound so easy and natural. Each of the nine compositions flows so effortlessly. Bernocchi generates highly atmospheric luminous magical layers with his baritone guitars and electronics, and also paves rich, magnetic and crunchy beat construction. Between all this, Sontakke elegantly weaves emotionally charged lines with his slide guitar. Two creative minds work in perfect, electric synchronization to create a spiritual, dialogic and mystical journey.
