Bouncing Dance outlines Clean Error‘s goal to revive the early IDM era and present new and intriguing sound sculptors who continue to develop fresh and original methods to portray it.

Bouncing Dance is a riveting collaborative release by Celine Arnauld and End of Cycle, out on the enduring Clean Error imprint consisting of five tracks. “BB5606” maintains an entrancing and emotive glitch’n clicks layer that finally implodes with distorted beat pulses and mechanical fractures that simply want to be freed; its heartbeat hidden beneath subtle atmospheric strands. As the EP progresses, new cinematic structures emerge on “BB9704,” where rhythmic tones and skewed electronics flutter about—the expressive static and fidgeting groove feels nostalgic and arcane at the same time. Midway through, “BB6158” gains momentum with faster-paced glitch acrobatics, while “BB7345” pushes industrial boundaries with a “Gantz Graf“-esque composition that’s infused with breakcore dynamics. Finally, “BB2835” closes with a sound reminiscent of early Lexaunculpt arrangements where downtempo glitch soundtracks and scorched synths blend in unison—a powerful and surreal finale.
