Asymmetrical Head :: X-Rendered (Bonding Tapes)

A symbiosis of clinical electronic fractures infused with organic sonic peripherals that at once sound cohesive while seamlessly tethered to hundreds of minimized digital vs analog musical sound branches. X-Rendered is a detailed sojourn through the mind of a highly skilled soundsmith.

A symbiosis of clinical electronic fractures

Bonding Tapes‘ label operator Will Rosario (aka Asymmetrical Head) returns from a six year hiatus, focused on his imprint and most importantly recovering from kidney cancer, he opted to revive not only himself but also created three and a half albums worth of material during that time of which X-Rendered is the first to see a physical and digital release.

As a heavily saturated and dense electronic foray into the outer limits of abstract electronics, X-Rendered details a plethora of left field Autechrean ambient fizz-fuzz (“Movements Vary,” “Xardin” ), sporadic clicks’n cuts (“Shadow Cell,” “Vos Tak”), gritty post-industrial fissures (“Post Hard”), downtempo braindance (“Cache Bih,” “Fat Clinic”), microscopic breaks (“Luna Drop”), otherworldly broken-glitch acid (“Always The Numbers,” “LEP”), luminous IDM extrusions (“Polymerase Stance,” “Yeah^15”), and utter exploratory soundscraping (“Strengph G”)—X-Rendered is a fluid assortment of dizzying sound effects.

As a result, Asymmetrical Head unleashes a behemoth 18 track album that sheds thick textural layers while evenly restrained front to back. A symbiosis of clinical electronic fractures infused with organic sonic peripherals that at once sound cohesive while seamlessly tethered to hundreds of minimized digital vs analog musical sound branches. X-Rendered is a detailed sojourn through the mind of a highly skilled soundsmith that is not afraid to unleash disjointedly surreal soundtracks from distant galaxies.
