V/A :: Alien Transmissions Vol 3 (Pyramid Transmissions)

Pyramid Transmissions’ abstract electro roots have been further cemented since 2000 with yet another painstakingly made electro-nic compilation EP, courtesy of its founders, Andy Jaggers (ADJ) and John Cranmer (Pathic).

Tightly-packed breakbeat electro-nics

Pyramid Transmissions have demonstrated the continuous ability to refine their sound and work with artists from all across this circular cosmic spot in this third edition of Alien Transmissions. The results are strikingly evident. The tightly-packed breakbeats of Info Cifon’s “How The Game Serves Us” sound like a more sinister rhythm machine, while Fleck Esc’s interstellar electro of “Space Vampires” is a powerhouse in an of itself. A dynamic rhythm shuffler that never misses a beat, Datacrashrobot ends with classic bleep-electro on “Stream Processing,” while Broken Joe’s “Gordon’s Alive” slithers through distorted acid structures and deeper spaces with its crunchy breaks.
