Red Basement Records L.L.C. launches record label focusing on the best new music from various electronic music subgenres. Retrogramme, Selfish Boy, Force Drift among initial signings
Alexandria, VA – Founded by CEO and musician Rob Early, Red Basement Records L.L.C. launched a record label focused on finding the best unknown electronic musicians/producers and bringing their unique and original sounds to the forefront of the electronic music scene. The label will record, produce, release, and promote a variety of artists from around the globe.
The label will offer music as paid downloads, physical media including CDs and USB Flash Drives, and will also offer free promotional downloads of selected albums, EPs and singles.
“During the last 5 years of writing and sharing music recorded by my band, Retrogramme, I have met so many very talented, undiscovered musicians locally and via the internet that deserve to be heard and appreciated. These musicians are from different subgenres of electronic music including synthpop, industrial, electronica and others. Many fans of electronic music listen to more than one of these subgenres, so we plan to focus our roster on diverse talent and style.”
