Pharoah’s Doorway is the first ep Keith Tucker is doing for the Delsin label. Keith Tucker hardly needs further introduction, as being active since the very early days of Detroit techno & electro, putting his stuff out through labels as 430West, Direct Beat and his own Puzzlebox Records of course. The tracks as Optic Nerve bring the more soul-techno things he does, as being proved again with these deep tracks. “Another Plain” goes straight energetic, with deep male & female vocals and soulful strings. “Aura (2000)” is in typical Tucker/Detroit techno blueprint sound, surrealistic and funky. “Pharoah’s Doorway” goes towards ambient techno, with it’s soft breakbeats, beautiful strings, and funky melodies.
