New album by Meat Beat Manifesto :: At the Center

(04.12.05) Veteran composer and sound sculptor Jack Dangers behind Meat Beat Manifesto is about to launch a brand new album on Thirsty Ear called At The Center on May 24th, 2005.

Musicians include Jack Dangers (Bass Clarinet/Flute and “all other sounds”) with Dave King (Drums), Peter Gordon (Flute) and Craig Taborn (Steinway Grand Piano, Fender, Rhodes, Clavinet, Hammond B3). At The Center is the latest installment of Thirsty Ear’s Blue Series in which jazz and electronic music worlds meet to create a brand new synthesis.

In addition Meat Beat Manifesto will be embarking on its first North American tour in 7 years. Running from June 9 – July 3 (2005) stopping in the following locations:

Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, New York, Myrtle Beach and Orlando.
