News of an admirable initiative from Hibernate Records, which is compiling an album to raise donations to help towards the earthquake disaster in Nepal. All donations will be given to the British Red Cross. Contributions have been enlisted so far from: Isan, Machinefabriek, Isnaj Dui, The Declining Winter, Memory Drawings, Antonymes, Clem Leek, Paper Relics, Spheruleus, The Sly and Unseen, Visionary Hours, Olan Mill, Good Weather for an Airstrike, Chris Dooks, The Green Kingdom and Rothko Chapel.
Donations are taken via the hibernate bandcamp site where the album is available to pre-order–both digital and CDr versions are available. Due to the urgency tracks will be added as and when they come in, with full release when all is compiled.
In addition hibernate is donating 100% income from any of their digital downloads to the cause until it has reached its goal of £1000.
