The fun-packed rhythms of opener “To Make It” is enough to grab our attention as the bustling low-end breakbeats of “Get To Stepping” ventures through nostalgic frequency bursts and bass shuffled bliss. Shifting jungle madness maneuvers around fidgeting blips and bleeps on “Shake Your Brain,” setting out to capture the entire drum’n bass scene. Corporeal Face closes with “What A Trip,” delivering touching points to A Guy Called Gerald’s classic Black Secret Technology; its floating melodic bits busted up by ravaged synths, re-envisioning the past and refueling where it took us.
