Flyphel emerges as a visionary construct—where Roel Funcken and exm (Jeroen Bax), both seasoned sculptors of audio intricacy, converge to propel alien percussion into elevated dimensions.

Forged from the reinvention of exm’s foundational elements into uncharted sonic terrain, Flyphel emerges as a visionary construct—where Roel Funcken and exm (Jeroen Bax), both seasoned sculptors of audio intricacy, converge to propel alien percussion into elevated dimensions. Known for their shared affinity for sci-fi glitches and time-warped circuitry, the duo seamlessly fuse fractured rhythm with futuristic elegance.

Here, Flyphel transmits a radiant constellation of harmonic fragments and kinetic pulses—debuting with “Bown,” a transmission bursting with buoyant bubbles, layered grooves, and low-end mutations. “Maidan” detonates with elastic subs and hyperactive patterning, while “Ital” narrows in on crystalline glitchwork wrapped in vaporous ambience. It’s within the entropic corridors of stretched resonance and syncopated scatter that their collaboration truly ignites—“Iracus” stands as a luminous nexus, while “Jetec” delves into murkier orbits of downtempo gravity. Finale “Kaz” dissipates into a dream-state of ambient static and spiraling stardust—ushering Flyphel into its own parallel cosmos. These are echoes of future memory, mapped through glitch-infused architectures by two sonic alchemists channeling the forgotten futures of electronic sound.

We eagerly anticipate the next chapter, where exm breathes new life into select tracks by Roel Funcken, reimagining them with fresh perspective and sonic innovation. A limited edition 2×12 vinyl is also available on Science Cult.
