Karena ESP :: A Single Moment, Repeateda

A Single Moment, Repeated is a drone billowing with the sense of fulfilled longing. With nothing but guitar and pedals, Chris Gowers empowers the dreams and aspirations of his listeners on a Hibernate postcard lost too long in the mail. Canadian artist Bernice Eisenstein says, “We’re passing. We’re the ephemera. For a while, we want to be very present.” So hold on to what is good as long as possible. Capture those single moments and replay them, repeatedly.

In longer form but dwelling in similarly blissful, suspended time is Karina ESP’s Detachment (Morc, 2012), which includes the good company of Caught in the Wake Forever adding piano to one track.

A Single Moment, Repeated is available on Hibernate.
