A serene collection of loosely layered electronica and exquisitely choreographed instrumentals with a few interwoven vocals to balance everything out.
Tapping at our heartstrings
Creating “from the ground up,” Infinite Scale’s passion to see through the process has Harmi Palda in a more relaxed mode as he drifts in Solo Fight. Gently flowing instruments and electronic flutter consume these delicate pieces, opening with the wide-angled downtempo lens of “how unfortunate.” Flowing soundscapes inhabit each of these audible Polaroids. “i gave up” and “particles” carefully exchanging granular clip-hop moments with guitar plucks and a contemplative mood. And just as the multi-talented sound smith rattles the senses with pitter-patter beats, he loosens things up with the atmospheric and soundtrack beauty of “last saviour” and “air movements,” both all too short slices of life.
With hints of world sounds and enchanting rhythms, both “forest trails,” and the closing wonder of “the time we both wrote” emit utter clarity in the form of calming piano keys tapping at our heartstrings and spellbinding ambient forays casting hints of light found in the darkness.
A serene collection of loosely layered electronica and exquisitely choreographed instrumentals with a few interwoven vocals to balance everything out. The enduring and impressionable times gone by from the now-classic Toytronic days can still be found here, however, it’s an entirely new audio landscape we’re excited to be a part of.
