Past Inside the Present announces imminent launch of Healing Sound Propagandist. A digital-only sublabel that further explores PITP’s signature sounds and textures, HSP expands on its “dreamier meditative output” and “texture-focused arrangements” from ambient artists world-wide.
Already in circulation are Dawn Chorus and the Infallible Sea‘s Amber, Low Howl‘s Lux, and head Healer, Zach Frizzell aka zakè, with Laudation, Unfurled (find a short “Laudation” from his Milieuxia below), Also forthcoming (11/11) is the neonate imprint’s first full length, A Glimpse of Hope, from Brazilian sonician, Carlos Ferreira. Just short of an hour, its single long-form guitar manipulation hymns the need for a home for hope in these dark times.
The goal of the HSP imprint is to highlight talent, expanding opportunity for artists and composers to release their works with the parent’s promotional puissance in the hope of bringing otherwise hidden gems to a wider audience.
