[Release page] Swarm Intelligence’s Surveillance EP opens with “Execute”—a brutalist work-out hammering neck cracking beats against jagged synth distortions and speaker destroying bass. “Thrash” follows; a filthy slow tempo stepper of a monster—spewing firing bass squelch across a hinterland of deranged audio manipulations and multiple beat structures. “Collide” ups the intensity throwing down shuddering explosions of finely honed low frequency audio. Remixes from Blackmass Plastics and Rory St John continue the dark and dirty theme rounding off another excellently savage EP from Acroplane.
