STATION :: s/t (Station Sound)

Definitively surreal and devoid of a conclusion, STATION is a bewildering collection of silky ambience transmitting a fluid kaleidoscope of colors and undulating waves upon the memory bank.

STATION

[Listen | Purchase] Silence is tucked away underneath a sheet of crumpled bass tones, minimalist sheets of reversed noise, wrinkled melodies and spacious collages of BOC’esque interludes. To disseminate such an album requires a quiet place or a long 3:00am drive. Like separating individual grainuals from a plume of ashes, STATION (aka Jed Becker, Twoism.org moderator and also operating under the Saturday Index moniker) has conceived forty-two minutes of simmering ambience. It is with these mysterious strands of subtlety that allows each movement to slither into the subconscious. Without notice, time casually falls out of place, nostalgia flashes into mind and vanishes into thin air. Perhaps by design, it’s actually difficult not to invest each second into listening to the nuances spinning around on this release. A hypnotic symphony of sublime minimalism floats around an organic stream; and it is in this stream that the listener can begin to fully realize the path that these sounds etch. Definitively surreal and devoid of a conclusion, STATION is a bewildering collection of silky ambience transmitting a fluid kaleidoscope of colors and undulating waves upon the memory bank. Don’t let this one slip under the radar, instead, let it float into and out of your mind.
