Seven original, all modular pieces, and two complimentary remixes by EVS (cover art credit) and He3dless, Trajectories is electrical bliss.

Seven original, all modular pieces, and two complimentary remixes by EVS (cover art credit) and He3dless, Trajectories is electrical bliss. Not entirely doused in left of center dub as the imprint has nurtured over the years, SB-Six distills minuscule blips and rearranges them delicately on “The Dark.” He3dless entwines “The Dark” in a harder edged drum and bass mood-swing—rolling low-end, flickering melodic hook, it’s brimming with saturated sonic colors covering the whole spectrum. “Hitchhiking” is replete with lightly weaved ambient shards, its emotional backbone carried by shadows in the mist—a mysterious ebb and flow. “Misadventure” is modularism at its peak. SB-Six traverses soft pads and warms up the synths on this atmospheric Subotnick-glitch foray. “Redemption” dips into crunchy beatwork, thinned chord progression, and is magnetized by echoes, loose fragments and a desire to capture the imagination. EVS takes “Redemption” to another plane, one that is dub-infused as shuffling hi-hats merge with lighter notes and bass. “Staggered” waxes nostalgic, the emotive and brisk synthesizers are tuned to perfection in too short a trip. Closing up with “Submerged” and “Walk in the Park,” these two tracks bounce off each other as early 90s-era ambient-electronic music sets the tone. Calm waves maneuvered by an audio sculptor whose trajectory is set, ready, and exquisite.
