Glanko :: Osmosi (Halbsicht)

Osmosi redefines the architectural balance between dark electronic sojourns and flowing modular strains.

Glenko (aka Giuseppe Fallacara) returns with another full-force album with Halbsicht. Spinning the gauntlet of electronic music both harsh and delicate, Osmosi traverses a spectrum of moods. From glitch fragments to bass throttling, no stone is left unturned.

“0005” unfolds modular industrial minimalism as darkened beats penetrate its atmospheric haze. “Stilius” and “Nube,” on the other hand, deliver subdued ambient washes, and eventually open up to reveal percussive maelstroms. These fourteen pieces converge on the seamlessly organized “Nauta” and “Rituale” where dribbling beat-work, tiny glitches, and emotive low-end, illustrate sublime soundtrack dynamics. The title track is all of the above and more—cascading waves roll over growling bass as it continues to expand into a far off galaxy, emotions bubbling.

Osmosi, as a result, redefines the architectural balance between dark electronic sojourns and flowing modular strains. Fans of Hymen, M-Tronic, and early releases on Tympanik Audio will certainly welcome this release to their collection.

Osmosi is available on Halbsicht.
