For the uninitiated, PLAID have been making records for over 10 years. Old school mates Ed Handley and Andy Turner have turned out another moody, warm and rhythmic album Spokes (October, 2003). Plaid’s live sets are augmented by some amazing visuals. (Click HERE for a review of Spokes)

LUKE VIBERT, a.k.a. the king of acid (and we don’t mean liquid) has made a name for himself under all sorts of monikers: Wagon Christ, Plug, Amen Andrews and has recorded for labels such as Ninja Tune, Rephlex, and Planet Mu among others. YosePH (October, 2003) is his very first Warp album (note the ‘pH’ – which here refers to a table of basses, acids and very excited neurons) and it’s a timeless dance floor masterpiece.

CHRIS CLARK is perhaps the youngest and newest artist on the Warp label, and a rising star indeed. Clark kicks out daring, cutting edge, experimental music that will blow your mind. Check out his amazing EP Ceramics is the Bomb and his second full length Empty the Bones of You which was released on Warp a few months back. (Click HERE for a review of Empty the Bones of You)
