High on KRAKE

Since 2010 inception KRAKE has brought to Berlin some of the best known acts in the vanguard and at the margins of electronica–Mika Vainio, Monolake and Murcof, to name but 3 Ms–and Techno’s Outer Limits–cf. Cassegrain, Perc, and sundry Stroboscopic Artefacts. Ideated and curated by the Killekill label crew, KRAKE has honed a distinct aesthetic–not big, but clever, no snazzy sponsoring deals, but a more edgy integrity–with tentacles (Krake=octopus (Ger.)) spreading out variously round the city.
